This privacy policy applies to the DroneTones mobile
application (package / bundle id com.NguyenInDoubt.dronetones)
for both Android and iOS, published by NguyenInDoubt
(Thanh Nguyen), the developer named on its Google Play and Apple App
Store listings.
The short version
DroneTones does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, and no advertising. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Information we collect
None. DroneTones has no analytics, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no servers of its own. The drone audio is bundled inside the app, so playing a reference pitch works fully offline and makes no network requests.
The app saves a small amount of information on your device only — your practice streak, how often you have played a drone, and your reminder preference. This never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and is not linked to your identity.
Data retention and deletion
Because we collect no personal data, we retain none and there is nothing for us to delete. The on-device information described above is stored by the app itself and is permanently removed when you uninstall DroneTones. You may also clear it at any time through your device's app storage settings.
Information we share
None. Because the app collects no data, there is nothing to sell, share, or disclose to anyone.
Children's privacy
DroneTones is safe for users of all ages. It collects no information from anyone, including children.
App stores and in-app purchases
DroneTones is distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Those stores may collect standard information related to app downloads and usage, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy. That collection is governed by Google and Apple and is outside DroneTones' control.
DroneTones offers an optional “tip jar” in-app purchase. If you choose to leave a tip, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing or Apple's App Store — we never see or receive your payment details. The optional “rate this app” prompt likewise hands off to your store's own review system.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
